I first need to explain what I mean when I say a static start position.
This is where the two handsticks are held horizontally and perpendicular
to your body. The devilstick rests on top of the two handsticks, with the
handsticks an equal distance apart from the center of the devilstick.
There is nothing spectacular about this position, but it is the main
starting point for many of the static tricks. This position
is also a common starting position when learning how to devilstick.
